reservations over the phone or hold spots in programs until we

Behind the Scenes Tours for ages 5 and up
Behind-the-Scenes-Tour

Journey behind the scenes at Reid Park Zoo and discover the rewards
and challenges of caring for over 500 exotic animals every day!
Visits to the Zoo’s kitchen, health center, and an animal
night house will give you a whole new perspective on what it takes
to keep the Zoo’s animal residents healthy and active on
exhibit. After the tour, you’re welcome to explore the Zoo
on your own for as long as you wish.

$10 for a member guardian and child pair / $16 for a non-member
guardian and child pair / $2 discount for additional child in
same class.
Each session includes a walk through the Zoo, story, craft or
other activity, and a live animal encounter.
